Weren't both Greg and Jello around during the 80's? Around the time BR got better(Suffer), Jello was moving on to Lard.
I'm not sure I'd compare them, Jello's always been very actively political in a whacky way. He had an awsome platform running for mayor(banning cars in the city) but way too many lawsuits.
Greg is a little more laid back in his approach, probably more effective too. I wonder if or how he expresses opinions in the classroom?

I've got a number of Bad Religion albums, none after 98 though, they were still good but they seemed to hit a musical ceiling for me. Did they regain anything when Gurewitz came back?
I Haven't seen them live since 94. They're releasing an album this year, I wonder if they'll tour like mad.
