i stand by my bong too.

i've looked at these studies a few times before, and they always seem to be missing out on many factors, their heads burried in numbers missing some of the more obvious points..... like a joint is constantly reaking, a joint contains paper, and most likely, tobacco... in that circumstance, short of putting tobacco in a bong* there is no fucking way a bong can be worse for your respiritory system than a joint.

rate of uptake and metabolism also plays a crucial role in the absorbtion of cannabis into the body. by cooling the smoke, you are able to take more in one time, reducing the need for prolongued exposure to multiple hits and i'll bet the per duration and per volume of smoke, bongs stand out a long way in terms of efficiency of effect.

anyone who has spent some time developing, designing and constructing bongs will tell you, bubble size and the water volume (even shape) also play crucial roles in determining the effect of your bong. at one extreme, the very small bubbles, ones pulled through some kind of strainer/difuser will often contain far too much water in the smoke, and could cause an unpleasant cough that can last for hours or days.


the ratio of thc (and other cannabinoids) to unwanted particulate matter is not something to ignore... its just not the be all and end all of toking efficiency.

bongs are best for high quality hash anyways, in which you'd have very little else besides the thcs & cannabinoids.

also, i noticed in one study i read on this that they actually termed THC as a tar! so it completely skewed the results, probably so far as to show the inverse of the true matter at hand.


but really....

eating....

we all know eating is the cleanest best way.... once you know how to manage your doesage correctly.
