Contrary to popular belief the nukes will be used. Not only does history, but logic as well says that we can look for these events to happen. Nobody builds anything that does not get used at least once or more. Even if the inventor is the only one to use it. So bearing that in mind the atomic and hydrogyen arsenal will be used. The odds that it will not be used are astronomical, if you keep in mind the times and the frame of mind that those in charge seem to have you gotta know a disaster is looming. Given the nature of power in this country someone may nuke us for our arrogance any day now.
Those in charge will not be touched, but life as we know it will change forever.
