Thanks for the warm welcome guys and i'll start the new thread now and put the link up as soon as i can-about the amber lights-i've read (maybe in this thread) that light leaks are a good way to get hermies-perhaps the amber light functions on similar light waves as regular light bulbs-perhaps not. Your hermies could have been caused by at least several dozen diferent things-i hope to at least count out LEDs on the whole as some suggested-perhaps as time and money allow, amber can be tested to see if it does in fact make hermies-as for me now i'm going to stick with a red to blue of 10:1 in veg and 5:1 in flower-if my plants start freakin out i'll add more of both and then start playing with the combinations-this is wat makes this sooo cool-gentlemen we are not on the cutting edge we are on what is known as the bleeding edge-resaerch on technology that is so new its designers and researchers have no idea where it going-Once the kinks are ironed out perhaps we will all be steeped in marijuana growing lore...and perhaps not! anyway guys-i thank you in advance for your help and input because i am going to be learning about a lot in one grow-i'm keeping a very detailed paper journal and will tell you everything you want-and thanks rye but i'm going to see wat kind of deal radio shack can swing me on led's-but i make take you up on that-and i'm using fluros in my veg so keep me posted on how that goes-and smknvtec don't wry bout it man-i'm at the age i can lay hands on other sources very easily and you are in a position that you can not-plus i have yet to undergo major surgery lately-btw how is that healing? aight guys-good luck
