What do you guys think about the idea? I had a few questions about the two...

House:

Can the owners come in and check things when they want? I dont have too many questions about the house, but if any of you are growing in a rented house right now and know of some issues that I should be aware of, let me know.

Apartment:

Can the owners come in and check things when they want? Could you run into issues with smell/suspicion from other tenants? Is there enough room? Is there any other issues I should be aware of?

as far as bills are concerned, I know that I should be in charge of my own electricity so that the owners are not concerned about anything and that I am taking care of that directly.

I am looking for a place right now and am trying to narrow it down. But, was wanting some input from you guys about what you think about growing in a rented house or apartment and some of the issues that can arrise in doing so.

If you could shine some light on the situation that would be wonderful.
ok, lets start from an apt. im currently growing in a apt. now. make sure its one of those duplex and i recommend you renting the upper floor so you can vent the smell higher than your neighbors, which makes it no smell.

now renting a house thats the best. common sense, the more secluded the better. those homes are hard to find though. ive found that if you have a grow operation in the ghetto, it tends to not raise too much suspicion. just my thoughts though. find a house that has those fan blowing on top of the roof, its like a circle shape fan always moving. a house that has one of those would have a compartment in one of the rooms to get to it and usually its pretty close to that vent. living in oakland people are more afraid of getting killed than worrying about neighbors smoking marijuana. 150 homicides this year.
