Thank you Dierwolf for your comment.
My initial problem was too high of a pH, i don't think it was heat stress. Infact, some of the stems have a bit of purple in them, which makes me think its a little too cold at night. I even moved the light closer today to encourage growth and keep 'em warmer. As long as my hand feels comfortable when I hold it above their tops, they should be fine, right?
The setup I have put together is mimicking a setup on a "How to Grow" video I found on the internet. The grower in the video just let the roots grow out the bottom (by the end they were close to 1-2 feet hanging out) and had them exposed to the light with no other watering technique but the drippers. You are saying that this is bad? I have bag of grow rocks, but I bought them for when I move these babies into the flowering room. I don't think the bag would fill the whole basin. I do have 7x7 inch potting baskets, also were going to be used in the flowering room, that I was going to pour the rocks into so that I didn't have to waste a bunch of rocks filling the whole basin. Should I set them up in the veg room and then just move the plant with the basket and rocks into the flowering room when they're older? Also, can you only use the rocks for one grow or for multiple grows? Do you also have any suggestions for keeping by pH at a constant 5.5?
BTW, there are already extensive roots coming out the bottom of the cubes, so I should do this soon?
