Besides, if this is all in the intrerst of homeland security, why are we not securing a homeland?

Any terrorist who wants to target the US only has to make it to mexico, and can then walk right through the 500 mile wide hole in the fence down here on the border.

That's what really pisses me off, is all this talk of "We must protect our country from the threats of terroroists blah blah," and ship ? hundred thousands of troops to join in on the oldest war in history, yet fuck our own boreders, if anybody wants to walk a few miles across the desert they can enter this country unseen.

We now have providrd this kind of preotection to countries all over the world, yet left our own backyard wide open

I watch the few border patrol agents here attempt to do their jobs and secure the fence, but there's just not enough. One woman i know who owns a ranch in the valley has repeatedly counted in excess of 300 people a night crossing the border and walking right by her doors and windows. at sundown she locks her doors and windows and hides in her house, because our borders have zero security. She lives in a very beautiful and very rural area, nothing around out of the city, yet she is still locked down in fear on her own land which the US government does nothing to protect.

I used to run an airport located adjacent to the border for 3 years and have seen firsthand thousands of crossings a day, border patrol catches 2-300 people a day and are at their capacity. they catch maybe 20% of all those who cross at best. This means that while we are sending x billion dollars and thousands of troops across the globe, the united states has an 80% possible success rate for a terrorist entering the country. with what i know about the region's security i can smuggle in whatever i want, and from here travel anywhere in the country, invisible, and target whatever region of the US i want.

The issue is swept under the rug, any attempt at civillians watch and report borer crossings is dicouraged by government, and are labeled a threat themselves.

There's a group called the American Border Patrol, not U.S. Border patrol, which is the government agency supposedly securing our borders.

The ABP is a local group of ranchers and citizens who have grown tired of the bullshit that happens down here. They volunteer to walk, drive , and ride (horseback) along hot sections of the border and use satellite phones to track and report illegal border crossings. The coordinates of illegals are then relayed to US border patrol who are too underfunded, underequipped, and undermanned. These people take time out of their personal lives to spend hours in a silent warzone to protect themselves, their families, friends, neighbors, and the country from threats that the government ignores.

I've seen a lot of stuff down here and it's scary to take a look at the situation from that point of view. One night i was working late at an airfield in a remote border region when 2 cars lights out approcahed my airport terminal building. 4 guys piled out of the cars with 9mm's and moved for my office door. I grabbed my SKS and took a hidden position under my desk and set up for a sniper shot at their attempted entry point. As the first one began to enter they spotted a sherriff's vehicle that just happened to drive by and they ran back to the cars, and departed. i put in calls to local law enforcement, border patrol, customs, and to the army's aerial surveillance post that has digital eyes on my facility. I never found out who they were or what they want but i suspect they were mexican mafia b/c of the way they operated.

Homeland security is virtually nonexistant along the Arizona, and New Mexico border.


Recently 3 iraqi men were caught at the border trying to enter the US and the incident was hushed quickly. Who caught these people? The Mexican athourities, not us. We had no idea that they were there until the Federales announced what they found.

So, when the next 9/11 happens, and it will, very soon, and it is discovered that terrorists transported dirty bomb/chem/bio/missile launchers/ or just thousands of suicide bombers across the arizona border let me be the first to say "We told you, we told you blind and dumb government fucks this would happen and you did nothing. I hope you were the terrorist's target."


I'm not against military action itself, i'm against the secret agenda that leaves us open for attacks purposely, so we got a reason to capture the oil fields of the world.

I'd like to see a troop buildup along our own border first. Let's at least make our border secure if we're gonna go to the middle east and stir up that hornet's nest.


It's pretty sick what's happening here and if DC or NY were geographically located here, there would be snipers in towers every 20 feet for 500 miles along a fortification to rival any in history. right? Do you think it would be the same if 1000 illegals a day ran through andrews air force base unchecked like they do at military installations here? what if dubya woke up and looked out his window to see a path cut through the white house lawn by thousands of border crossers? The edges littered with discarded water bottles, clothes, diapars, etc.
