Well the way I look at it is that PCs are far more customizable (though they require maintinance and tech savvy), they aren't rendered obsolete really untill you need a new motherboard; you can harvest and tweak your system for your specific needs, AND the most important aspect:
In a few months time (assuming I invest in a new graphics card), I will be able to all console games ever made (from Atari to PS3); free. Plus all the PC games which don't make it to console.
All that i really am interested in right now, is buying a good controller; I must prefer the console controllers as opposed to the keyboard + mouse.
