It's not a matter of "what if". It is a matter of :What has he already done?
Scary as it may seem, I certainly would support us going into any country that uses torture or any other "cruel and unusual" punnishment.
We are not necessarily the police of the world, but let me take a head count here.
Anybody who supports the torture of political dissidence, say "I". Anybody who thinks the families of people who speak out against the gov't should be tortured and raped, stand up and say "I".
We are liberating a tortured and impoverished people.
Any other tortured and impoverished people should be liberated.
Anybody reporting from iraq yet? I'd love to hear how fuckin' wonderful it is.

What about Chine, N Korea, Cambodia, Cuba, Angola, numerous central African countries, Egypt, etc. etc. etc. etc.
We never went to war with any other countriy to remove their bad and evil rulers, why all of a sudden do we need to free Iraq. Iraq and Saddam didn't have anything to do with 9/11, if so there would be evidence. I was in favor in of capturing Osam Bin Laden, which we haven't doe yet in almost 2 years of fighting. This war is about Oil , money, saving the US econmy, and getting Bush re-elected. This looks just like another vietnam starting to happen again. I feel sorry for all the young soldiers that are soon to die and for the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians that will die in our regime change for their own good.
there isn't a damn thing I can do to stop this but I don't want anyone to tell me I'm wrong or unpatriotic for not supporting this war. The very first freedom we have in this country is the right to free speech. You may not like what I say, you may disagee with what I say but I have every right to speak my beliefs.
