Philips red fluorescent tube (TLD 36W/15) and Philips blue fluorescent tube (Philips TLD 36W/18), but I imagine similar red/blue fluoros would also work well. I'm not sure where they are sold; I couldn't find them on Philips' website.

Interesting, where'd you hear that? Hmm. Even if that is true, you might be able to work around it. Maybe you could expose the plant to UV-B for the first few weeks to stimulate trichome growth and then scale it back when the trichomes (and the THC) actually start coming in. ...Just thinking out loud.
This thread needs a UV-B expert.
