well especially for new growers, I wouldn't advise anyone to scrap a plant as soon as it grows 'balls on sticks' - as it's very hard to distinguish between a budding female & a knobbly male if u haven't seen the flowering stage before.
I know I've made the mistake in the past, so my advice is clear - give it time to develop before u throw away a healthy plant.
Everyone panics - "oohh i think it's a male :/" but work it out! average ratio is 1-1, not everyone's plant is male!!
Very early growth of female flowers - especially when they suddenly burst out all over the plant looks very much like male pollen sacs at first.
Be patient - & if ur not sure, isolate the plant (but don't deprive it of light) until u are positive.
