Pain meds are alot of peoples oasis in the vast desert of suffering, so now shes one pill down, and it could be a pill that makes her feel better some day.

My mother also suffers a lot of pain, with osteoarthritis, and so I also agree wholeheartedly; whether she takes one a month, or ten a day, they aren't yours, you don't need them, and to my mind, if you don't know much about the 'drug', you shouldn't be using it anyway. Are you after an OD?
