Texas:

Texas tobacco tax increased by $1
The Texas State Legislature has signed a bill increasing the tax on tobacco by $1, to a total of $1.41 per pack. The tax increase is a part of Governor Rick Perry’s proposal to overhaul the state’s school finance system, and will take effect on September 1st. The tax will generate almost $700 million in the first year alone. Click here to view a press release from the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
Still way cheaper than Rhode Island, New Jersey or Washington, lol.

Here's a list of all states and the taxes ofn cigs. http://slati.lungusa.org/appendixc.asp
