Trippy thoughts, but how can you draw a line in between yourself and the plant? Is the creator/creation relation really as solid as you think? You could need the plant's fruit to survive, in which case the order of who's dependant of who is reversed. At the same time, are you the only reason the plant grew? By planting the seed you created a ripple but that alone didn't create the plant, it needed the nutrients in the soil and the light from the sun to grow.

What I'm getting at is that it doesn't owe its existence only to you. Endless factors conspired to allow its creation, and in a way, you need the plant as much as the plant needs you. Everything is inter-dependant.

Or is it? I don't really know
